Plagiomnium cuspidatum is one of several mosses in its subgenus which grow around here. It is very small, with leaves only one or two cells thick. It requires magnification to identify to species, as you need to see whether the teeth are single or double, how far down the leaf they go, and details of the cell shape and size. P. cuspidatum has a distinctive thickening at the corners of its leaf cells.
